Summary

This position will be responsible for leading the strategy as it relates to owning Aha! Leadership. The candidate will use metrics and data analytics to drive improvements for tools that drive overall R&D function at Teradata

Key Responsibilities

Owns Aha! Overarching strategy for Portfolio Management
Creates Lean Business Model Canvas Templates
Captures corporation vision, key strategic initiatives, goals and priorities
Partner with Product Management and Engineering Leaders to align roadmaps
Owns Program Management tool (PPM or equivalent)
Ties financial components into tools

Requirements

Passion for improving roadmap software
Good organizational and time management skills to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
Understanding of software project management methodologies, including Agile

Broad software and hardware technical experience in the areas of Datacenter Management (Power, Cooling, Space Management), Network (Cisco switches/routers), Security (Palo Alto firewalls), Servers (Dell, HP), Storage (NetApp), Virtualization (VMware), UNIX, Windows, Macintosh, Various flavors of Linux (Suse, Red hat, Ubuntu), Configuration Management and Automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Stacki), Teradata Data Warehouse, Hadoop systems, Mainframe/AIX, and Engineering tools

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related
10+ years of roadmap software experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Hybrid cloud environments
Public Cloud (AWS/Azure) experience
Knowledge of container management/virtualization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Programming/Scripting skills
Knowledge of Teradata platforms and Data Warehouse solutions
