Our Company

At Teradata, we believe that people thrive when empowered with better information. Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform activates enterprise intelligence by unifying data, knowledge and business context to achieve tangible outcomes. With Teradata, organizations can provide agents with full context for impact when it matters. Our solution lets businesses connect and scale on premises, in the cloud, or through a hybrid approach. Teradata delivers real business value with AI.

What You'll Do

As Right Shore Revenue Planning Analyst, you are the dedicated data owner for Teradata’s revenue planning process. You sit within the Right Shore Sales Operations team and work day to day with the Manager, Revenue Planning Programs & Strategy to run the data engine behind the annual planning cycle and the year-round change process that keeps the plan accurate.

This is a data management and processing role. You build and manage the planning templates, consolidate and reconcile submissions from across the business units, keep account and assignment data clean, and take real ownership of the final business build files that hand off into Salesforce, downstream tools and IT processes. You are the last set of eyes before planning data leaves the process — accuracy is the job.

The planning calendar moves, priorities shift, and questions arrive without warning. This role suits someone who adapts quickly, can go deep into the detail of the planning process when something does not reconcile, and takes personal pride in a clean file.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the final business build files: Assemble, validate and own the definitive build files for territory, account assignment, headcount and quota that feed Salesforce, downstream tools and IT processes. Run the pre-handoff checks, resolve exceptions, and sign off on what goes out.
  • Build and manage planning templates: Develop, version, distribute and support the planning templates used by business unit teams; track submissions, chase gaps, and consolidate returns into a single reconciled dataset.
  • Maintain account data quality: Keep account data accurate and audit-ready — account hierarchy, duplicate records, ARR category changes, ownership and assignment accuracy — through scheduled audits, exception reports and remediation.
  • Process territory and assignment changes: Process and validate territory, account and people assignments in Salesforce, including Enterprise Territory Management and hierarchy changes, ensuring every change is traceable and correctly reflected.
  • Support the annual revenue planning cycle: Work to the calendar and cadence set by the Manager, Revenue Planning Programs & Strategy — preparing datasets, running the consolidation, and turning around iterations at pace during planning crunch.
  • Maintain headcount, coverage and quota datasets: Keep the planning datasets current and reconciled across planning, Salesforce and Finance views, and maintain the change history behind them.
  • Process in-year change requests: Handle mid-year changes to territories, account assignments and quotas — validating the request, applying the change, and keeping the audit trail intact.
  • Produce planning status and exception reporting: Deliver recurring completeness, status and data-quality reporting so the Manager and business unit teams always know where the cycle stands and what needs attention.
  • Go deep when required: Trace a number back to source, unpick a discrepancy across systems, or rebuild a broken file under time pressure — and explain clearly what went wrong and what you changed.
  • Document the work: Maintain data definitions, file specifications, run instructions and change logs so the process is repeatable and does not depend on one person’s memory.

Who You'll Work With

  • Manager, Revenue Planning Programs & Strategy — your day-to-day business partner and dotted-line manager
  • Right Shore Sales Operations Team Leader — your direct manager
  • UNIT Sales Operations Managers (SOMs) and business unit teams
  • Revenue Operations, IT and Salesforce delivery teams
  • FP&A and People/HR planning partners

Minimum Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, sales planning, or a data management role supporting a sales organization.
  • Advanced Excel is essential — complex interconnected workbooks, pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, nested formulas, template design, data consolidation and validation across large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, including territory and account hierarchy management, assignment processing, data quality management, and running and interrogating reports.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the discipline to check your own work and the instinct to notice when a number looks wrong.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a data deliverable end to end — not just producing it, but being accountable for its accuracy downstream.
  • Ability to work to a fixed planning calendar and absorb shifting priorities without losing the thread.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English, with the confidence to flag a problem early and ask the question that unblocks the work.
  • Comfort collaborating across time zones with US and EMEA stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (finance, statistics, analytics, reporting).

What You'll Bring

  • Ownership of the Build File: You treat the final build file as yours. You know what depends on it, you check it before anyone else has to, and you do not hand over work you are not confident in.
  • Adaptability: Planning priorities change quickly. You re-sequence, absorb new requirements, and keep moving without needing the plan re-explained.
  • Depth on Demand: You can drop into the mechanics of the planning process when something does not reconcile, and follow the data until you find the cause.
  • Data Quality Instinct: A low tolerance for dirty data, and the habits — reconciliation, validation, exception reporting — that keep it clean rather than fixing it after the fact.
  • Process Discipline: You follow the standard, document what you do, and leave the process better than you found it.
  • Practical AI fluency: Comfort using a leading AI assistant (Claude preferred; ChatGPT or Gemini also relevant) to speed up data preparation, reconciliation, documentation and repetitive processing work — with the judgement to verify the output.
  • Power BI experience or certification would be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with sales planning or incentive compensation platforms (Anaplan, Lative, Xactly, Varicent or equivalent) would be an added advantage.
