With Teradata, organizations can provide agents with full context for impact when it matters. Our solution lets businesses connect and scale on premises, in the cloud, or through a hybrid approach. Teradata delivers real business value with AI.

 Our Internship Program

Our Mexico Intern program starts in September ending in March. We offer a fast-paced, flexible, fun environment where you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects and face new challenges. Our culture isn’t just about one kind of person. So many individuals make up who we are, making us that much more unique. This is what sets apart the dynamic, diverse, and collaborative environment that is Teradata.

What You'll Do

Are you someone who loves connecting the dots — understanding how a business process that starts in one system ripples through to another, and why the data doesn't always tell the same story twice? This internship was built for you.

The honest gap we're filling: our team is deep on technical skills but we need sharper thinking on end-to-end business process ownership, data lineage (what data lives where, and why it matters), and cross-functional accountability. That's where you come in.

This is not a shadow-your-manager internship. You will own real work across three tracks:

Track 1 — Business Process Mapping & Ownership

  • Document end-to-end business workflows that span Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, and connected apps — from lead-to-cash, hire-to-retire, and procure-to-pay.
  • Identify handoff points between systems where data is transformed, duplicated, or lost, and surface gaps to process owners.
  • Build living process maps (swimlane diagrams, decision trees) that teams can actually use — not decks that die in SharePoint.
  • Sit with business users in Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain to understand what they experience vs. what the system was designed to do.

Track 2 — Data Lineage & Traceability

  • Catalog how key data objects (Customer, Invoice, Product) flow across Oracle Fusion modules, Salesforce and downstream reporting tools.
  • Build a data lineage map — a clear, visual record of where data originates, how it transforms, and where it lands.
  • Work with IT and Analytics to close documentation gaps that cause recurring support tickets and audit findings.
  • Contribute to our master data governance framework, including naming conventions and field-level ownership assignments.

Track 3 — AI Agent Deployment & Enablement

  • Partner with our platform teams to identify high-value use cases for AI agents inside Oracle Fusion and Salesforce — think intelligent process automation, smart data entry validation, and proactive alerting.
  • Help design agent prompts, test agent behavior in sandbox environments, and document deployment runbooks.
  • Assist in evaluating agent performance against business KPIs: Did the agent reduce processing time? Did it catch errors humans missed?
  • Translate what agents do into plain language that business stakeholders actually understand and trust.

What You'll Gain

We designed this internship to build skills that make you genuinely employable — and rare.

  • Enterprise System Fluency
    • Exposure to real-world Oracle Fusion and Salesforce environments.
    • Gain hands-on experience with enterprise systems that many graduates do not encounter until years into their careers.
    • Develop practical knowledge of how large organizations manage business operations and data.
  • AI & Agent Literacy
    • Work directly with AI agents in an enterprise SaaS environment.
    • Build skills in one of the fastest-growing and most in-demand areas of technology.
    • Gain experience with emerging tools and capabilities that remain rare in today's job market.
  • Cross-Functional Credibility
    • Collaborate with teams across Finance, Sales, IT, and Operations.
    • Learn how different business functions interact and make decisions.
    • Strengthen stakeholder management and communication skills valued in senior-level roles.
  • Portfolio-Ready Deliverables
    • Create tangible work products such as process maps, data lineage documentation, and AI agent deployment summaries.
    • Build a portfolio of real business deliverables to showcase during interviews.
    • Demonstrate practical experience and problem-solving capabilities to future employers.

Who You'll Work With

You'll join our Enterprise Applications team, the group responsible for keeping Oracle Fusion (ERP/SCM/EPM), Salesforce (Sales), and a constellation of boundary applications running as one cohesive ecosystem. We move fast, we break things responsibly, and we're in the middle of something genuinely new: deploying AI agents directly inside our SaaS platforms.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • Get curious about why things work the way they do and then go find out.
  • Take ownership seriously, if you say you'll deliver something, you deliver it with help as needed.
  • Have some exposure to ERP/CRM concepts, business processes, or data through coursework, projects, or personal curiosity.
  • Are excited about AI not as a buzzword, but as a practical tool that changes how work gets done.

What You’ll Bring

  • Any hands-on time with Oracle, Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms (even a course or certification counts).
  • Experience with process mapping tools like Visio, Miro, or even a well-structured Figma board.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data visualization, or any BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Coursework in MIS, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or Computer Science.
  • Prior experience working in a team setting, class projects, clubs, part-time jobs where you had to coordinate across people.
