AI Strategist (Pre-Sales), North East Asia (NEA)

What You'll Do
As an AI Strategist (Pre-Sales), North East Asia (NEA), you will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Korea, helping organizations define, prioritize, and accelerate their AI, analytics, and data transformation initiatives.
This is a strategic customer-facing role that combines business consulting, industry expertise, and AI advisory capabilities. You will engage with C-level executives, business leaders, and technology stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases, develop business cases, facilitate innovation workshops, and shape enterprise AI transformation strategies.
Working closely with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Consulting Services, Customer Success teams, and Ecosystem Partners, you will help customers understand how Teradata's AI, analytics, and cloud data platform capabilities can drive measurable business outcomes and competitive advantage.
Success in this role means influencing strategic opportunities, strengthening executive relationships, accelerating AI adoption, and helping customers realize value from their data and AI investments across the NEA region. This structure follows Teradata's approved Job Description template.
Who You'll Work With
You will be part of Teradata's North East Asia (NEA) Go-To-Market organization and collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Engineering, Consulting Services, Customer Success, Product Management, Marketing, and strategic alliance partners.
You will work with customers across multiple industries, including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Retail, Healthcare, Transportation, and the Public Sector, helping them accelerate their AI and digital transformation journeys.
This role reports into the regional AI leadership organization and serves as a strategic partner to both customers and internal account teams across the NEA region.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, enterprise architecture, AI advisory, or customer-facing strategy roles.
- Experience engaging senior executives on business transformation, data strategy, and AI initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Analytics, and Cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into strategic technology recommendations.
- Proven success supporting complex enterprise opportunities and executive engagements.
What You'll Bring
- Deep understanding of AI adoption frameworks and enterprise transformation methodologies.
- Experience facilitating executive workshops, innovation sessions, and AI strategy discussions.
- Ability to identify and prioritize AI use cases aligned to business objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Foundational AI skills and a passion for helping customers innovate responsibly through AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to develop AI-focused account strategies across the NEA region.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer business objectives and transformation priorities.
- Facilitate AI innovation workshops, executive briefings, and strategy engagements.
- Identify and articulate high-value AI, analytics, and data modernization opportunities.
- Develop AI business cases, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps.
- Support strategic customer pursuits through thought leadership and executive engagement.
- Collaborate with Solution Engineering and Consulting teams to define solution strategies.
- Stay current on emerging AI trends, industry developments, and competitive market dynamics.
- Represent Teradata at customer events, executive roundtables, industry conferences, and AI-focused forums.
- Act as a trusted advisor helping customers move from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale adoption.
