Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of advanced platform and infrastructure capabilities. In this role, you will work on complex systems that require strong software engineering fundamentals, thoughtful design, and a performance-oriented mindset. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and cross-functional partners to build reliable, scalable, and maintainable software.

Responsibilities / Interesting Work You’ll Do

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and support
• Design and implement high-quality, performant software components in a large-scale, distributed environment
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance
• Analyze and resolve complex functional and performance issues in production and pre-production systems
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, resilient, and customer-ready solutions
• Continuously improve code quality, test coverage, and engineering best practices using Agile methodologies
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply them where appropriate to improve the platform

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with 5+ years of relevant industry or research experience, or
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience, or
• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related discipline

Desired Skills and Background

• Strong programming skills in one or more systems or application languages such as C/C++, Java, or Python
• Solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software design patterns
• Experience building and debugging complex software systems, ideally in distributed or parallel processing environments
• Familiarity with database systems, data-intensive applications, or large-scale platform software
• Knowledge or experience with caching technologies, cache-aware system design, or low-latency workloads is highly desirable
• Understanding of performance analysis, optimization techniques, and trade-offs in high-throughput and low-latency systems
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and related tools
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Location

This position is based in Hyderabad, India. The role may offer flexibility depending on business needs and team alignment. Limited travel may be required.
