What You Will Do

Support and drive Teradata’s regulatory compliance efforts for enterprise and high-density AI-optimized platforms.

You will contribute to worldwide market access across safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), environmental directives, and material compliance requirements. Working with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and external certification bodies, you will help ensure products meet global regulatory standards from development through customer deployment.

This role collaborates closely with platform engineering teams to integrate regulatory requirements into system design and supports certification, documentation, and manufacturing release activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead certification activities for assigned platforms (UL, CE, CB Scheme, FCC, VCCI, BIS, etc.).
  • Coordinate EMC and safety testing, including pre-scan validation and issue resolution.
  • Manage material compliance programs including RoHS, REACH, SCIP, and WEEE reporting.
  • Support EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) and sustainability-related compliance initiatives.
  • Review engineering change orders (ECOs) for regulatory impact.
  • Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation required for manufacturing release and global shipment.
  • Interface with external test laboratories and certification agencies.
  • Support supplier qualification and lifecycle reviews from a compliance perspective.
  • Track and communicate emerging regulatory changes affecting product compliance.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

Required Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of global regulatory frameworks for electronic systems.
  • Experience supporting EMC and safety certifications for enterprise hardware platforms.
  • Familiarity with UL, CE, FCC, CB Scheme, and related international standards.
  • Experience supporting material compliance programs (RoHS, REACH).
  • Ability to interpret regulatory standards and apply them to hardware design.
  • Working knowledge of hardware system architecture.
  • Strong documentation and project coordination skills.

Education & Experience         

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Regulatory Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance for electronic systems.
  • Experience working with manufacturing partners and global supply chains preferred.
