What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and serve as a regional Talent Acquisition partner for Mexico and South America. This role will be responsible for recruiting across all organizations, with a primary emphasis on Product, Sales, and Finance, while also supporting highly specialized hiring needs across the business. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, owning full-cycle recruiting and helping translate business priorities into effective talent strategies.

Who You’ll Work With

You will be part of the global Talent Acquisition team and will partner closely with leaders across Mexico and South America.

  • Hiring Managers & Business Leaders: Serve as the primary recruiting partner to managers and directors, helping define hiring strategies, target profiles, and interview approaches.
  • Senior Leadership: Partner with senior leaders to deeply understand business goals, workforce needs, and critical skill requirements.
  • Talent Acquisition Peers: Collaborate with recruiters and TA leadership to ensure consistent processes, best practices, and a strong employer brand.
  • Candidates: Act as a brand ambassador, delivering a world-class candidate experience from first contact through offer and onboarding.

What You Will Do

  • Own and execute full lifecycle recruiting across Mexico and South America, with a primary focus on roles in Product Engineering, Products, Office of the CTO, Information Security, Finance, and Sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and leaders, serving as a strategic advisor on talent markets, role design, and hiring decisions.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including passive candidate outreach, to attract top technical and niche talent.
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural alignment with Teradata’s values.
  • Partner with leaders to define success profiles and ensure alignment on candidate evaluation criteria and hiring outcomes.
  • Leverage recruiting data and pipeline insights to guide conversations, identify risks, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within applicant tracking systems while handling confidential information with discretion.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • 7+ years of successful recruiting experience in fast-paced environments, with a strong focus on software engineering and technical roles.
  • Demonstrated experience owning full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing.
  • Proven ability to recruit across multiple functions and levels, including highly technical and specialized roles.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and managing recruiting data and pipelines effectively.
  • Strong consulting mindset, with the ability to use data and market insights to influence hiring strategies and outcomes.
  • Experience recruiting in or supporting Mexico and South America.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to complement all areas of your daily work.
