What You’ll Do

The Technical & Product Training Specialist is responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of technical enablement programs for Teradata employees, partners, and customers. This role plays a critical part in enabling adoption and effective use of Teradata Vantage and related cloud technologies by delivering high-quality, instructor-led technical training.

Key Responsibilities

• Enable internal employees, partners, and customers on core Teradata technologies.
• Conduct technical enablement courses, including both virtual and live instructor-led training and workshops featuring hands-on labs within cloud environments. These sessions support Vantage Cloud SaaS (AWS, Google, and Azure), utilizing cloud-native services, cloud migration tools, and other Teradata Vantage features specifically designed for cloud modernization.
• Open to learning technical tools and topics related to Teradata Vantage.
• Develop, maintain, and refine technical training content aligned to product releases.
• Support and optimize training environments in collaboration with environment teams.
• Collaborate on AI-enabled tools to enhance training effectiveness.

Who You’ll Work With

You will partner with Product, Services, and other SMEs to translate product capabilities into learning deliverables.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Technical bachelor’s degree required
• Solid experience providing technical training to audiences with a technical background.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major database and cloud platform.

What You’ll Bring

• Bilingual fluency preferred (English & Spanish)
• Additionally, familiarity with the following is highly desirable:
• Machine Learning skills.
• Practical experience in analytics (Python).
• Proficiency in AI and prompt techniques.
• Proven skill in collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
• Effective time management, communication, and writing abilities.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Open to traveling up to 50% of the time, which may include international trips (although all courses are currently delivered virtually).
