Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including documentation, orientation sessions, and system setup.
Administer and manage employee enrollment and changes in health insurance, pension, and other statutory benefits (社会保険 / Shakai Hoken).
Support the implementation and communication of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and employee understanding.
Assist in maintaining workplace safety standards and hygiene protocols in accordance with Japanese labor laws (労働安全衛生 / Rōdō Anzen Eisei).
Coordinate mental wellness initiatives and resources, and support employee access to mental health services.
Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programs and initiatives, including awareness campaigns, training, and data tracking.
Organize and facilitate training sessions for managers and employees on HR policies, compliance, and soft skills.
Use HR data to generate reports, identify trends, and support decision-making processes.
Who You'll Work With
Collaborate with regional HR teams and local stakeholders.
Partner with managers and employees across the organization.
Work closely with benefits providers, training facilitators, and external consultants as needed.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of experience in HR Admin / Operation or Generalist roles.
Familiarity with Japanese labor laws and social insurance systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regional team.
Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems.
