Solution Architect – Modernize Platforms

What You’ll Do

• Lead the architecture and design of modernized platforms across SaaS, PaaS, and hybrid environments.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to define platform modernization strategies (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Certinia, ERP, GCS, Finance, and custom apps).
• Assess legacy systems and recommend retirement, consolidation, or migration paths.
• Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and data flows to support scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
• Guide engineering teams in adopting modern DevOps, automation, and cloud-native practices.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, SOX, GDPR), and security guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership for large transformation programs, balancing cost, speed, and risk.
• Partner with vendors and managed service providers to validate architecture decisions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies (AI/GenAI, automation, low-code platforms) and incorporate them into modernization roadmaps.

• IT Operations & Security Teams – Ensuring reliability, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Vendors & System Integrators – Collaborating on large-scale implementations and migrations.
• Executive Leadership – Presenting roadmaps, risks, and modernization outcomes.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• 8–12 years of IT experience, with at least 4–5 years as a Solution or Enterprise Architect.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise SaaS and PaaS platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow, ERP, Certinia, Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Proven experience in platform modernization, application rationalization, and migration strategies.
• Strong expertise in integration architectures (APIs, middleware, event-driven models).
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native services, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks (FedRAMP, SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to present to executives.
• Preferred certifications: TOGAF, Salesforce/ServiceNow Architect, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect.
