This Program Manager, Executive Briefing Centers role is for someone who isn’t satisfied with how executive briefings have always been done, isn’t shy about sharing their ideas, and wants to roll up their sleeves. This person will be a part of Teradata’s revamped Global Executive Briefing Center (EBC) team of tenacious Customer Advocates. We are a group of highly-motivated, highly-skilled EBC experts that are taking an existing program and building a next-generation EBC program that is special. Each of us aren’t merely given a license to, but are encouraged and celebrated to use our voices to shape this new evolution of a program with a long heritage. No lanes here to stay inside. The ideal candidate is independent, requires minimal supervision, and consistently delivers on commitments. This individual must be capable of making decisions and asserting authority amidst challenging stakeholders. As part of global marketing, this role requires a growth mindset, curiosity, eagerness to challenge the status quo. This leader will be able to see the big picture of how EBC influences Teradata’s growth and is not afraid to test and fail fast while respecting the brand of EBCs being developed at the global team level.

 

You will

  • Manage highly visible customer briefings in Teradata’s office in Sydney, Australia (in-person/hybrid/virtual) to help accelerate sales and nurture customer relationships.
  • Be responsible for helping to shape the strategy to build the program for ANZ, as well as the wider APJ region.
  • Own account team engagements from visit request intake processing, to Discussion Leader orchestration and preparation, onsite visit management, and to post-visit surveys and communications.
  • Secure Discussion Leaders and craft agendas to support sales’ visit objectives and customer expectations.
  • Learn from and adapt field and customer survey feedback to continuously improve processes, content, and the overall EBC experience.
  • Liaison between marketing and sales to ensure alignment in one voice of Teradata to customers visiting the EBC.
  • Proactively engage field sales on a regular basis to target the largest sales opportunities in Salesforce in order to build a steady pipeline of EBC visits.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Product Marketing, Digital, Marketing Strategy and Operations, and Social Media Marketing to create online and offline content that supports the EBC’s objectives.
  • Support Global Customer Engagement & Advocacy programs by surfacing peer-to-peer engagement opportunities during customer briefings, and knowledge-share across team members.
  • Maintain a Discussion Leader pool from across Geos and Industries, providing ongoing training and recruitment of new Discussion Leaders.
  • Develop a world-class customer concierge experience from airport arrival through airport departure.
  • Manage meeting logistics and A/V requirements, being available for onsite customer and speaker management.
  • Drive, in collaboration with Marketing Ops/Reporting, defining, implementing, analyzing, and taking action on key KPIs such as sales pipeline acceleration and contribution.
  • Scale best-practices from the other global executive briefing centers and integrate them into the EBC process.

Requirements

  • Prior EBC program management experience preferred
  • 5-10 years in Sales and/or Marketing required.
  • Experience using Salesforce preferred.
  • Prior briefing center experience desired.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) required.
  • Prior IT/High Tech industry experience required.
  • Must be willing to flex between virtual and in-person (hybrid) work at Teradata's office in Sydney when required.
  • Available to travel when necessary for executive briefings within ANZ & occassionaly globally.
  • Experience using digital selling tools and content for customer briefing centers.
  • Strong program and project management skills in matrixed, cross-functional teams and organizations.
