Senior IT Developer (ServiceNow)

 

Major Responsibilities:

The Teradata Services AIOPS and Platform Engineering team is seeking a senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a member of our team, the candidate will work in collaboration with other members on building advanced AI-driven automation to help handle customer support. You will work closely with data engineers and software engineers to build out automation in ServiceNow that do the following :

• Integrate with advanced AI analytics services to provide real-time advanced customer problem diagnosis and resolution
• Manage the data and security platforms that underpin these automated workflows

Qualifications:

• Ability to quickly pick up and learn new technologies and do highly technical work in the back end of an application stack
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 3+ years ServiceNow development experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate on an interdisciplinary team to solve problems in a fast-paced continuous development and deployment environment
• Self-starter with a positive attitude, intellectual curiosity and a passion for solving real world problems
• Excellent English Skills: verbal, written and visual presentations
• USA B1/B2 Visa (or the ability to obtain as a condition of employment)

 

 

Preferences:

• Programming experience in Python and/or Java
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience in dev ops and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
• Experience and strong interest in open source technology stacks
