External Description:

Summary Description:

Responsible for supporting features in Consumption Engineering.  Work with engineering team members to isolate and resolve problems related to Consumption features.  Participate in planning, design, code, test, and documentation of software components according to a standard development process.  Candidate will be expected to work closely with team leader, project manager, team members as well as members of other development groups. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

Graduate or Post graduate in Computer Science or related field.

Four to Six years of IT experience

Experience and good understanding of design and implementation of applications.

Strong C and Python programming skills is required. A knowledge of Typescript/GoLang is plus.

Experience in architectural design and implementation of client/server applications

Ability to understand product features and functionalities from design documents and analyzing code modules, execute testing according to test plan and document results with some supervision.

Experience working with Relational Databases (RDBMS) and SQL. 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Work on new features

Responsible for resolving internally and externally generated Defects

Participate in design, code, test and documentation of feature enhancements as needed.

Aptitude for understanding complex software from the functional and technical perspective.

Report progress against objectives on periodic basis

Key Competencies/Skills:

• Strong programming/Debugging skills with C/Python.
• Experience of working in different cloud platforms(AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of Typescript/GoLang is plus
• Experience of working on Database/SQL
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow documented specifications and plans with some supervision
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Works well in a team environment
