Procurement Operations Analyst

External Description:

The primary focus for this position is to support the Consulting Resource Management function in Teradata Northern and Central Europe with administration of contracting and financial management of external suppliers.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Manage internal administration of external suppliers for Professional Services (primarily subcontractors), from initial registration through invoicing and payment:

• Secure that the process of requisition and on-boarding of external IT consultants are compliant with the corporate policies (procurement, security, etc.)
• Search (via Fieldglass tool) external IT consultants and conduct negotiations with external suppliers
• Setup new suppliers in Oracle ERP system in cooperation with corporate Procurement Directors in order to maintain the supplier catalogue
• Draft supplier contracts (mainly based on available templates)
• Raise Purchase Orders (PO) for all new contracts, maintain open POs, raise new POs if needed, write-off unused POs
• Register supplier work effort against each PO (“goods receipts”)
• Validate monthly supplier invoices to secure alignment with work effort and other compliance matters, and work with suppliers to correct discrepancies if needed
• Maintain electronic archive of documentation relevant for external service suppliers

• Provide Business Operations support to Consulting Managers and Resource Managers.

Brilliant English language skills. Ability to read and understand German and/or one of the Scandinavian languages would be a benefit
