What You’ll Do

In this role, you will help drive employee engagement and operating effectiveness in the Corporate Communications team at Teradata. Your work will drive continued strong growth in external social media followers and engagement, as well as improved employee engagement rates.

 Through solid communications and project management skills, you will

• Manage traffic planning for our social properties, supporting our Social Media Manager, to structure a well-balanced flow of information across our channels. You will review intake requests and help ensure completeness, as well as support scheduling and posting on Teradata’s social channels.

Your social media skills will shine as

• You create social posts for external distribution – helping grow awareness and perception of Teradata in the market – supporting our Social Media Manager. Primary channels today are LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X

Through your analytics skills, you will

• Review social trends and efficacy by channel and recommend go forward social planning, based on the analytics from our social media tracking toolsets
• Collect and consolidate engagement data across internal campaigns, channels, and events to provide a comprehensive view of employee reach and participation
• Analyze engagement results across audience segments (e.g., region, function, role) to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve relevance and impact
• Design and analyze experiments (e.g., A/B testing, content variations, send timing) to continuously improve message effectiveness.

• Our Corporate Communications team inspires and activates Teradata employees and works to enhance awareness of Teradata in the market through effective PR and social media.

In this role, you will report to our Communications Supervisor, who is responsible for harnessing strategic planning, multi-channel campaigns, data and analytics, and technology to further our communications goals. You will work consistently with our Social Media Manager.

• Analytics skills and experience, to drive improvements in message communications
• Experience in multi-channel communications, with emphasis on social media

• A skill set of thinking in a structured, logical manner

• History of success in working within a team environment

• Ideal candidate has experience with the following technologies
• Sprout Social, or similar social media management platform
• Power Bi
• Microsoft Office suite of tools
• Video or audio editing software
• Familiarity with AI tools, Claude and Co-Pilot
