What You’ll Do
In this role, you will serve as the product owner and primary business systems analyst for the Certinia PSA platform supporting Teradata’s Global Consulting organization. You will act as the critical link between business stakeholders and the technical development team — translating complex operational needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive meaningful improvements to how our consulting teams work.
- Manage the Certinia PSA product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements in alignment with business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Gather, document, and refine business requirements through structured stakeholder engagement, translating them into user stories and functional specifications for the development team.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint review ceremonies in collaboration with development and QA resources.
- Develop and execute test plans for new features and system changes, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
- Communicate roadmaps, release plans, and system change impacts clearly and proactively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Partner with the Global Consulting leadership to identify process improvement opportunities and ensure the PSA platform continues to evolve with business needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Certinia PSA, providing guidance on system capabilities, best practices, and configuration options.
- Investigate and resolve Tier 2 production issues related to FinancialForce (Certinia) or Salesforce.
- Assist in preparing documentation and data for internal and external audits.
Who You’ll Work With
You will be part of the Business Operations team within the COO organization, working at the intersection of technology and consulting operations. In this highly cross-functional role, you will partner daily with Global Consulting leadership, project managers, and operations teams to understand business needs, as well as with Salesforce/Certinia developers and administrators to deliver solutions. This position reports into the Business Operations function and plays a key role in ensuring that Teradata’s Global Consulting business runs efficiently and at scale.

- Background in a professional services or consulting environment, with a solid understanding of how consulting operations work — including resource management, project billing, utilization, and time tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a product backlog, write clear user stories, and drive delivery in an agile or iterative development environment.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst in a software technology environment
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Prior experience with Certinia PSA (formerly FinancialForce PSA) or similar Professional Services platform a plus
- Proactive and passionate: Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results in challenging situations
- Must possess strong business acumen, analytical aptitude, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and project management capability
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization and comfort navigating multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical business audiences and vice versa.
