What You’ll Do 

We are looking for an AI Engineer to support our transition toward AI‑assisted test and quality engineering. This role will focus on developing and integrating AI‑powered tools, agents, and skills that help test and quality teams improve efficiency in test development, execution, and analysis. The role is well‑suited for engineers who have a strong foundation in automation and scripting, are hands‑on with AI tools, and are eager to grow their experience building practical, production‑ready AI solutions for internal engineering teams. This is an individual contributor role, working under guidance from senior engineers and architects and, reporting to Senior Engineering Manager.  

AI‑Assisted Test & Quality Engineering 

• Develop and enhance AI‑assisted tools and scripts to support:  

• Test case creation and updates 

• Test execution workflows 

• Failure analysis and log/result summarization 

• Assist in building AI agents or skills that help test engineers reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time. 

• Integrate AI‑enabled features into existing test automation frameworks and pipelines. 

Engineering & Automation 

• Write clean, reliable code (primarily Python) to support AI tools and automation use cases. 

• Contribute to automation workflows used across test, CI, and integration environments. 

• Help instrument and collect data needed for test analytics and insights. 

Collaboration & Learning 

• Partner with test engineers, SDETs, and internal engineering teams to understand pain points and translate them into AI‑assisted solutions. 

• Work with senior engineers to implement designs, follow coding standards, and apply best practices. 

• Actively learn and experiment with AI/ML and generative AI techniques relevant to test automation. 

Org‑Wide Exposure 

• Participate in building or extending shared AI agents or internal tools that can be reused across teams. 

• Contribute to documentation and usage guidelines to support adoption of AI‑based tools. 

 What Makes You a Qualified Candidate 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related field. 

• 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, test automation, or related roles. 

• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with automation frameworks is a plus. 

• Foundational knowledge or hands‑on exposure to:  

• AI/ML concepts or generative AI tools 

• LLMs, prompt‑based solutions, or automation using AI services 

• Familiarity with test automation concepts, CI pipelines, and Linux/Unix environments. 

• Good problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies. 

What You’ll Bring 

• Experience contributing to automation or quality engineering platforms. 

• Exposure to containers (Docker) or cloud‑based execution environments. 

• Experience using AI tools to assist with coding, testing, or analysis. 

• Interest in building internal developer productivity or quality tools.
