Responsibilities:
Design and develop services that underpin data ingestion, transformation, storage, compute and orchestration at a massive scale.
Develop low-latency services that process millions of events per second.
Translate complex business logic into efficient, scalable table structures that serve broad analytical needs.
Partner with other staff and senior engineers to define best practices, technical standards, and support models
Resolve customer incidents and provide support to Customer Support and Operations teams
What makes you a qualified candidate
Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or comparable work experience
8+ years of experience using advanced Python, Go, Java, C/C++ in a highly parallel computing environment
8+ years of experience working with distributed data systems (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) and MPP databases
8+ years of strong development experience with medium to large analytics and data warehouse solutions
Hands on experience with Kafka/Flink/Pinot/Clickhouse
Deep understanding of file formats (Parquet, Avro, ORC) and storage optimization techniques.
Deep understanding of data structures coupled with ability to write algorithms
Proficiency with stream processing engines and distributed data stores
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write detailed technical design documents (RFCs) and lead cross-functional technical alignment.
