What You'll Do

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation AI-enabled product experiences. In this role, you will drive technical architecture across the stack, build scalable systems, and establish modern development practices leveraging AI-assisted engineering workflows.

You will work across frontend platforms, backend services, and AI systems, enabling teams to rapidly prototype and productionize intelligent applications. As a Staff Engineer, you will provide technical leadership across multiple teams and influence engineering strategy in a fast-paced product environment.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Lead the architecture and development of scalable full-stack systems, building high-performance applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Design and operate distributed backend services and APIs using Node.js, Java, or Python that power customer-facing products and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Drive adoption of AI-accelerated development practices, converting AI-generated prototypes into production-ready systems and improving engineering velocity.
• Design and integrate AI-powered features and agent-based workflows leveraging LLM technologies.
• Provide technical leadership across teams, guiding system design, mentoring engineers, and influencing engineering strategy while delivering in a fast-paced environment.
• Design, implement and deploy web-based multi-tenant, cloud native front-end applications to provide manageability and operational visibility to our Vantage cloud platform offerings
• Work with UX, product management and other platform engineering teams to help create and evaluate new product ideas and technical designs
• Implement best practices that produce maintainable code, including usability patterns, code style conformity, integration, testing, and code review
• Participate in detailed reviews of design, architecture, and code produced by other engineers within the team.
• Recommend alternate approaches, analyse impacts, and provide sizing estimates
• Collaborate with other cross-platform team members to build effective integrations
• Prepare service and feature-related documentation – functional specifications, design considerations, architecture compliance, GAP analysis, etc. spanning multiple phases of the SDLC.
• Analyse, design and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. 
• Lead and balance multiple projects at a time
• Lead by example in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive team environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and empathetic discussion

What You Will Bring

• 8+ years professional experience in User Interface development, JavaScript, Angular
• Translating user experience design (mockups, wireframes and user journeys) into code using Angular, Angular Material, NodeJS, strong fundamental knowledge of Object oriented JavaScript, SASS, CSS3
• Knowledge of advanced JavaScript and browser optimizations
• Deep understanding of web standards & technologies (ex. HTTP, REST and JSON).
• Strong knowledge in writing Automated Test Suites using frameworks like Jasmine, Protractor, Mocha, Cypress, Jest, or Selenium
• Familiarity with TDD and concepts like mocking and stubbing for unit / integration tests.
• Thrive in an environment that requires you to partner with multiple cross-functional teams as stakeholders/customers
• Expert written and verbal communication skills
