What You’ll Do
The Area Vice President (AVP) drives revenue growth, services expansion, and margin performance within their territory and reports to the Unit leader of Health Care Life Science. This role leads a customer-facing sales organization focused on delivering AI-driven business outcomes and establishing Teradata as the platform for enterprise AI and agentic analytics.
Areas of Focus
Strategic Growth Leadership:
Lead the team to achieve growth targets through a shared vision of AI-enabled transformation. Build and execute strategies to reach C-suite executives, developing compelling narratives around how Teradata's modern data and AI ecosystem—including agentic AI capabilities—solves critical business challenges and delivers quantifiable outcomes.
AI & Analytics Vision:
Establish Teradata's leadership in AI and agent-led solutions. Articulate how our platform enables healthcare organizations to achieve ROI through AI agents, advanced analytics, and modern data architecture. Sell business solutions and outcomes—not just technology—to new divisions and leaders across enterprise accounts.
Sales Coaching and Development:
Coach and mentor team members on solution-led selling, executive engagement, and strategic deal construction. Develop high-performing teams capable of navigating complex healthcare organizations and building multi-threaded relationships that drive land, adopt, expand, and renew motions.
Business Results Management:
Drive accurate forecasting, pipeline discipline, and territory optimization. Manage budgets, pricing decisions, and resource allocation while maintaining accountability for revenue, growth metrics, and deal profitability.
