What you will do: 

In this role, you will lead the strategy, vision, and execution of Product-Led Growth for Teradata, empowering customers to discover, adopt, and expand our cloud data and AI capabilities through intuitive, self-service product experiences. 

 

You will define and deliver the PLG strategy that transforms how customers evaluate, onboard, activate, and grow within Teradata’s platform—across VantageCloud, AI/ML capabilities, data engineering, and ecosystem integrations. Your work will directly shape how customers experience Teradata from the first click to enterprise-wide scale. 

 

You will design frictionless, data-driven user journeys that accelerate time to value, integrate AI-powered guidance, and create natural pathways to expansion through usage insights, in-product nudges, personalized recommendations, and agentic AI activation. 

 

You will partner deeply across product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, and growth analytics to build an end-to-end PLG engine that increases adoption, improves retention, and drives efficient, scalable growth. 

 

Success in this role means: 

  • Delivering self-service onboarding and activation flows that dramatically reduce time-to-value for new customers. 
  • Embedding agentic AI within the product experience to guide users, unblock workflows, and accelerate successful outcomes. 
  • Establishing data-informed growth loops that tie product usage, behavioral signals, and personalized recommendations into continuous adoption. 
  • Enabling hybrid motions where PLG seamlessly supports Sales and Customer Success with product usage insights, expansion signals, and AI-driven account intelligence. 
  • Driving measurable improvements in activation, conversion, expansion, and product stickiness across user segments and regions. 
  • Applying foundational AI skills to identify and implement ways AI can enhance productivity, innovation, and impact across our global customer base. 

 

Who you will work with: 

On our team, we build the customer experiences that power how users discover value in Teradata’s platform. The PLG Product Management team partners deeply across Product Engineering, Cloud & Platform Engineering, Growth Analytics, AI Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver scalable, high-impact product-led growth motions. 

 

You will report to the VP of Product Management for the Teradata Product Organization and will work closely with global go-to-market, customer experience, and data teams to ensure PLG becomes a core growth engine for Teradata. 

 

You will also collaborate with Teradata’s AI governance and data governance teams to ensure all PLG AI capabilities align with our principles of responsibility, transparency, and trust. 

 

What makes you a qualified candidate: 

  • 15+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, data platforms, or AI-driven products. 
  • Proven success leading Product-Led Growth strategies, including activation, onboarding, in-product adoption, usage analytics, and expansion loops. 
  • Strong understanding of cloud data platforms, AI/ML workflows, and developer or data practitioner ecosystems. 
  • Experience integrating AI, machine learning, or agentic AI into product experiences to guide users and accelerate outcomes. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, analytics, marketing, and customer-facing teams. 
  • Foundational AI skills and the ability to understand how AI can be applied to improve outcomes in your area of expertise. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate behavioral insights into product improvements and measurable growth levers.

You thrive at the intersection of product, data, engineering, customer experience, and AI innovation. 

 

Preferred qualifications include: 

  • Experience leading PLG transformation or self-service adoption for a large enterprise or cloud platform. 
  • Strong technical background in cloud architecture, data systems, AI platforms, or developer tooling. 
  • Ability to convert complex product capabilities into simple, actionable user paths that improve adoption and business outcomes. 
  • Experience leveraging AI for personalization, recommendations, and intelligent workflow acceleration. 
  • Exceptional communication, influencing skills, and executive presence. 
  • A passion for how AI and product-led motions can help our customers, partners, and communities achieve extraordinary results.
