What You’ll Do
The EMEA Payroll Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple countries within the EMEA region. This role ensures compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. The position involves collaboration with HR, Finance, and third-party payroll vendors to deliver seamless payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing:
- Process monthly payrolls for multiple EMEA countries accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with local payroll providers, HR, and Finance to ensure all payroll inputs (e.g., new hires, terminations, bonuses, benefits, taxes) are collected and processed.
- Validate payroll calculations, including statutory deductions, social security, pensions, and other withholdings.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure payrolls comply with local employment laws and taxation regulations.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and processes are in place.
- Generate payroll reports for Finance, HR, and government agencies as required.
- Vendor Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for third-party payroll vendors.
- Manage SLAs, ensure data accuracy, and address queries or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Process Improvement:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes, systems, and documentation.
- Participate in payroll system upgrades or implementations.
- Employee Support:
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, payslips, and deductions.
- Provide clear explanations and resolve payroll issues with discretion and professionalism.
Who You’ll Work With:
In this role you will be responsible for payroll processing & payroll accounting. Need to work closely with internal teams who support payroll. This role will report to the EMEA Payroll Manager.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
Non – negotiable qualifications
- Any bachelor’s degree / Postgraduate
- 4+ years of experience in payroll processing, added advantage if have hands on experience in EMEA countries.
- Knowledge of statutory payroll requirements.
- Strong Excel skills and Fluency in English (additional European languages a plus).
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
What You’ll Bring
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, remote, or hybrid environment.
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle).
- Experience with reporting tools.
