What You'll Do

Responsible for supporting accounting, administrative and finance activities for Brazil & possibility to help other CLA Teradata entities.

Processes:

  • Handling of Accounts Payables to ensure correct invoice entry and vendor and tax payments on time and in compliance with local regulations.
  • Interaction with Outsourced Service Centers in India for coordinating AP, FA, IC, GL, and other processes.
  • Prepare, control and review of documents related to Comex operations and participation in the compilation of supporting documentation for external collections and payments considering the Central Bank regulations.

 Corporate GL:

  • Main point of contact for month closure, need to ensure correct P&L booking and suggest adjustments, reclassifications, and accruals.
  • Prepare month GL reconcilement for designated Balance Sheet accounts. 
  • Q based reporting of USGAAP financial statements with variance analysis.

 Local GL and compliance:

  • Provide tax information requirements for Indirect Tax, Income Tax, Transfer Price, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with local rules and regulations for issuing payments and record retention requirements.
  • Responsible for Local Stats preparation in compliance with local regulations and maintain supporting documentation.

 Control & Compliance:

  • Internal control and compliance with company policies and processes. Ensure corporate policy compliance and interpretation
  • Keep frequent contact with other areas to understand business changes/issues and to generate synergy
  • Be a point of reference regarding compliance and processes

Attend Internal and External audits information requirements

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Business administration (or studying)
  • +2 years’ experience in accounting and administration for multinational companies
  • Fluent in English
