What you will do

As Software Test Engineer you will be part of the CAT Center of Excellence, responsible for delivering high-quality Console Apps and Tools with a focus on ease of use. In this role, you will:

• Identify and document test cases.
• Ensure the test plan are well-documented and up to date.
• Analyze, create and execute test plans and executions for some of the Apps and Tools supported by this CoE.
• Collaborate to increase automation test coverage.
• Follow up on the resolution of issues.

Who you will work with

The Console Apps and Tools Center of Excellence (CoE) is dedicated to delivering high-quality applications and tools with a strong focus on ease of use. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and test engineers within the CoE to ensure proper test case documentation for different modules, increase testing coverage, and execute testing and validations. You will report to the Engineering Director and Site Lead, who is responsible for the quality aspects of this CoE.

What makes you a qualified candidate

• Graduate in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• From 3 to 5 years of testing experience, test plan creation and test case documentation.
• Experience testing user interfaces, preferably developed in Angular or React.
• Strong knowledge in Python.

What you will bring

• Experience in automation testing focused on UI, using Cypress, Selenium or WebDriver IO is desired.
• Experience in testing focused on ease of use is a plus.
• Knowledge of Jupyter Notebooks and configuring kernels using JupyterHub or JupyterLab.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or any CI/CD tool is appreciated.
• Knowledge of containers using Docker or Kubernetes.
