What You’ll Do

We are looking for a senior analyst to join our security operations team. The analyst will support the effective and efficient operations of the Security Operations Center, including next-gen artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) cyber security technologies, threat report generation, incident monitoring/response, and vulnerability management. This role will help to implement and support security best practices, policies, standards, and guidance to ensure the safeguard of company data, infrastructure, and resources from internal and external threats.

What impact this role has:

You will help manage the scope, schedule, and resource allocation for projects and sustain cybersecurity activities. You will also drive cybersecurity activities across the enterprise, complete security monitoring operations, manage vulnerability and threat assessments, and provide Incident Response (IR) support. You will reduce costs and optimize the enterprise's cybersecurity posture through shared services and automation.

What success might look like:

Success in this role involves managing, monitoring, and communicating enterprise security risk effectively, assembling and reviewing security documentation, investigating security issues, and maintaining cyber situational awareness. You will ensure the company meets security audit mandates, standards, and requirements, while staying proactive on threats, vulnerabilities, and cyber defense strategies.

You’ll collaborate with the Security Operations team, which focuses on cybersecurity initiatives, incident response, and managing enterprise-wide security risk. Your work will contribute directly to safeguarding the company’s information infrastructure.

The Security Operations team ensures that the company’s data, infrastructure, and resources are protected from internal and external threats. As a senior analyst, you will support the implementation of security best practices and vulnerability management.

Who the position reports to:

This position reports to a Cyber Security Operations Director.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive information security experience.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center.
• Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GSEC, GCIH, or Security+.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience driving cybersecurity activities and assisting with security policies.
• Ability to manage vulnerability and threat assessments, incident response, and network access control.
• Knowledge of tactical and strategic intelligence analysis of cyber threats, vectors, and actors.
• Strong understanding of security methodologies, security assessment documentation, and enterprise risk management.
• Intermediate scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python) and familiarity with ticket-driven workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex challenges.
• Advanced knowledge of computer vulnerabilities, hacker methodologies, and emerging security threats.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders through briefings, meetings, and reports.
