What You’ll Do

  • You are responsible for direct and indirect (through partners) sales into public sector in Switzerland. Main account is Swiss Government with all the departments plus a telco customer.
  • You will be responsible for the profitable sales of Teradata solution portfolio products including software (either on-premises or in the Cloud), professional services, hardware and support services.
  • You will develop customers to use our analytics, AI and ML capabilities and give customer a competitive business advantage.
  • You will be responsible for the entire relation between Teradata and the accounts assigned to you. You should build and execute a growth plan for each account to drive more business value out of Teradata environment.

Who You’ll Work With

  • You’ll work with system engineers, customer success managers, cloud & AI experts and professional services teams. Of course, we are also working with partner, local partners, Cloud Service providers and ISVs.
  • This position reports to VP DACH, Eastern Europe and Israel

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate.

  • Proven track record in Solution selling in to Public sector accounts in Switzerland 
  • Long term penetration plans into strategic accounts.
  • Large customer account over Million USD Revenue 
  • Experience in selling data analytics and AI solution and  understanding for the solution components.
  • Has the ability to define strategic directions, animate and motivate an account team.

What You’ll Bring

  • Business mindset, with the ability to search customer business and detect the value of Teradata to the customer.
  • You have network in the data field, specifically within the Territory accounts assigned to you.
  • Preferable you are in the bigger Bern area located
  • Travel required 
  • Fluent German/Swiss-German language skills.
