Intern - Solutions Analyst - 218173

What You'll Do

  • Work on data warehouse integration / reporting/ improvement projects with focus on gathering/analysis of requirements, mapping to source system attributes and understanding the business process changes.
  • Work on building prototype of the analytics solution (data and/or report) and working with engineers, data modelers and architects to implement optimal solutions.
  • Support testing and validation of data tables/views, operational reporting, scorecards, and dashboards to support internal business customers; support documentation of the test results with detailed use cases, personas, test scenarios and issues identified.
  • Use data to analyze, interpret and solve adhoc business questions from internal customers.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and independently solve data related issues. 
  • Prepare documentation on all projects support eventual productization of processes and services of the analytics product.
  • The solution analyst should have basic skill at technical document authoring, high level data architecture/data flow visualizations, writing and analyzing SQL to validate results, and interfacing with various stakeholders across the organization.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • Good knowledge of data system design for data mining, modeling, reporting and analytics.
  • Good communication skills to work with internal teams and internal customers with an ability to analyze the requirement and produce executable technical roadmap.
  • Ability to commit to a 10-12 weeks internship 
  • Foundational knowledge in analytics, modeling, and data applications concepts for large bigdata environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Statistics  

What You Will Bring

  • Any certifications in business analysis or Agile are a big plus
  • Basic knowledge of data pipelines, data mining, data modeling and data visualization.
  • “Can do” attitude, a quick learner, team player, energetic personality, works well under pressure in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Knowledge of using an issue management system (Jira, Rally, VersionOne, etc.).
