What You'll Do
As an intern, you will collaborate directly with financial analysts on various day-to-day responsibilities, including:
- Monthly Reporting: Gathering, preparing, and performing checks on monthly reports to ensure report integrity.
- Presentations: Elaborating charts and calculations into presentations to highlight key business drivers and metrics.
- Data Validation: Collaborating with FP&A Analysts on data validation and ensuring mapping integrity in Hyperion and EPB.
- Special Projects: Assisting FP&A Analysts with special projects involving research, key performance indicators (KPIs), and automation initiatives.
Who You'll Work With
You will join the Worldwide Corporate FP&A Finance team, responsible for consolidating our global financial outlook and results, as well as providing standardized companywide reporting. We operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with interactions across multiple groups in Teradata. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into Teradata’s products and customer base.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Expected graduation date between December 2023 and June 2025.
What You Will Bring
- Strong English communication skills.
- Demonstrated financial and analytical skills gained through formal education.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
