What You’ll Do:

In this role, you will lead and drive the strategic direction of Teradata's analytics offering, ClearScape Analytics, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's analytics product portfolio. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy with an emphasis on outcomes that align with business goals, solving customer pain points, and ultimately, increasing revenue. Your impact will extend to influencing key decisions, driving innovation, and contributing significantly to the company's market position.

Success in this role involves establishing the strategy for a cohesive analytics product roadmap, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering solutions that resonate with customers. You will be instrumental in enhancing Teradata's competitive edge by staying abreast of industry trends, customer feedback, and emerging technologies.

  • Own and champion the Product Definition and roadmap for Teradata’s AI, Machine Learning, and Analytics Product portfolio
  • Act as the trusted market expert and as the voice of the customer, defining the what and the why of the features we build
  • Guide and influence organization-wide activities that lead to greater adoption and revenue of the Product portfolio
  • Lead a team of product managers to build a product roadmap and prioritize features
  • Meet with customers and sales teams to understand market needs, identify customer pain points, and provide feedback to the product teams for inclusion in planning
  • Be responsible for market research to help drive strategy and business for the product – thus strengthening your expertise in data and analytics
  • Create a customer focused view of the product and present real business value to our entire organization
  • Establish and leverage the cross-organizational relationships and ecosystem partners to bring a capability from idea all the way to success in the market
  • Develop a data-driven approach to evaluating opportunities

You will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic group of global product managers, work closely with data scientists, and other cross-functional teams dedicated to advancing Teradata's analytics capabilities. Your team plays a critical role in shaping Teradata's position as a leader in the data and analytics space. As the VP of Analytics, AI, Machine Learning and Analytics, you will report to our SVP of Product Management, providing strategic insights and recommendations to align product development with our vision.
