What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate with the Briefing Consultants in the Global Executive Briefing Center (EBC) Team to support visiting guests as a “concierge” with all their logistical and hospitality needs for every customer visit to our award-winning center.
  • Own the operations of the center itself, responsible for maintaining a professional and inviting environment in the EBC by owning all the administrative responsibilities of continuous upkeep and managing inventories.
  • Manage key internal partnerships between IT, Corporate Real Estate, and Security to make sure we provide the highest level of customer service and experience.
  • Manage and even create partnerships with local vendors that continuously level-up our capabilities to provide customers with a seamless and memorable visit to Teradata’s EBC locations globally.
  • Be in charge of all aspects of hospitality for our executive guests during their time in San Diego and in our EBC, including acting as the greeter for all visiting guests to the EBC, while being positioned at the EBC Welcome Desk, and ensuring a positive first impression of Teradata and the EBC.
  • Assist the team by making sure they always have the tools and support they need to succeed, especially updated job aids, templates, and tools.
  • Help the team focus on EBC execution, by working with the Global EBC Director to constantly identify new tools and new resources the team needs and then execute on them.
  • Must be willing to work in our San Diego office up to five days per week as needed due to EBC guest volume

Teradata's Global Executive Briefing Center (EBC) program is a highly visible team responsible for orchestrating successful customer and partner engagements. The goal of Teradata’s Executive Briefing program is to build trust and grow new business opportunities with Teradata customers and partners. We are a group of highly motivated, highly skilled customer experience (CX) experts who are taking an existing program and building a next-generation EBC program that is special. Each of us isn’t merely given a license to but is encouraged and celebrated to use our voices to shape this new evolution of a program with a long heritage. No lanes here to stay inside. We all approach our work with an enthusiastic, self-starter, startup-builder mentality.

  • This role is an essential support-role for the entire Global EBC Program that drives impact by focusing on empowering the team to work more efficiently and with the tools it needs to succeed. This role is also essential for maintaining the customer experience in our San Diego EBC, as a hybrid customer-experience and operations professional.
  • This role reports to the Director of Teradata's Global EBC Program, who is based in San Diego.
  • This role works closely with the corporate real estate team as the EBC has kitchens, bathrooms, and rooms that are taken care of by corporate real estate and some janitorial services.
  • This role works closely with Teradata’s security team as guests/visitors must be properly registered to come into the EBC.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in a role centered around supporting a customer center team or executives 
  • Experience with Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) or planning executive meetings
  • Experience in operating and maintaining an events, meeting, or customer-focused space
  • Strong mastery of Microsoft Office Product Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)

  • Experience in project management or program management role a plus
  • Prior IT/High Tech industry experience a plus
