What you'll do:

Upgrade Database system from on-premise to Cloud/VMWARE.  Develop analytical data warehouse with shell script, Teradata SQL on Cloud/On-premise/VMware
Workplace: The base location is in Tokyo/Osaka/Fukuoka, but business travels will occur depending on the assigned project.
Industry: Financial, Retail, Manufacturing, and Pharmaceutical

As a representative of the company, this role is directly linked to our Customers `satisfaction. This role is also essential to the delivery of the Teradata platform environment.

In this job, you will be acquiring basic knowledge of Teradata products to take you to the next step – your career will develop into management or technical expert, industry expert, or data scientist.

Who You’ll Work With
We consist of three teams divided by industry,  and approximately 50 members belong to each team. 
There is always a cross-team rotation and the project you belong to is determined by the skillset required by the project, schedule, and availability of the person. 
You will have one one-on-one meeting quarterly with your manager to share your target setting, achievement, job preference, and capability development.  

You will be reporting to the Senior Manager of engagement & Delivery  

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
Communication/negotiation/documentation in Japanese, SQL/database, Linux, experience the whole project phase - from requirement definition to user acceptance test

What You’ll Bring
Cloud / Analytics knowledge, BI knowledge, Interest in both legacy & new technologies, more than two years of experience in IT company
