External Description:

What You'll Do

• Review sales contracts for deliverables, cancellation terms, and products
• Gain an understanding of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition principles and standard selling prices (SSPs)
• Allocate and schedule revenue for new deals and renewals in Workday to drive monthly accounting entries
• Manage updates to existing deals due to timing, allocations, or misc changes
• Present monthly deal status updates to Business Finance and Planning teams
• Maintain close communication with Planning Analysts, Sales Support, Order Management
• Use critical thinking skills to proactively resolve discrepancies
• Ad Hoc research and analysis

• Planning Analysts: New revenue streams and updates to existing
• Finance Manager: Training and support
• Revenue Recognition Managers: Deals over $1.0 million
• Order Management and Services Finance teams

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related business discipline
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Finance-related specialties, cross-functional projects
• Strong English Communication Skills
• Demonstrated financial/analytical skills gained through formal education or work experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Oracle Hyperion a plus
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
