Our Team

This opportunity is within the Teradata Performance Group. Performance Group comprises of multiple global scrum teams working towards a common goal to provide the performance characterization of each feature and release of the Teradata SQL Engine on various on-prem and cloud (AWS, Azure, GC) platforms.

Your Opportunity

This position is for a Software Engineer Intern in the Performance Engineering team within the SQLE organization. The selected candidate will work directly with their mentor and peers on the development and maintenance of Performance Test framework and Reporting tools.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and creative current undergrad or graduate student who is eager to work on new technologies and can contribute to the success of Teradata. They will also have class work or independent experience with programming fundamentals, Python/Java coding experience, database fundamentals, Git, and agile methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in BS/MS/PhD degree program. With graduation dates between May 2024 & January 2025.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Coursework or Experience with SQL
  • Experience with Python.
  • Comfortable working on a Linux system.
  • Experience with Git and/or Jenkins.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
