Job Description
Teradata Cloud Operations team manages Teradata application on cloud platforms and ensures availability, reliability of the platform and keeps the quality of service at par for our customers. As an Operations Governance Manager, we are expecting for you to be a process leader to ensure persistent quality of delivery. You will be focused on reviewing, implementing & improving operational processes following ITIL guidelines. You will bring in experience of using cutting edge technology and automation that will be the core of operational excellence for this position.
You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, SRE & global support teams as a quality management & delivery assurance champion for cloud service delivery.

Responsibilities
• Design and management of Service Quality Delivery framework for a 24x7 cloud service delivery team of Cloud Operation Specialists
• Establishing quality KPIs, define clear outputs, measurement of success against business requirements
• Owning and improving operational processes including Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management, process post-mortems, RCAs and others
• Supporting & identifying training requirements for the operations team
• Lead program quality review ensuring adherence to process & procedures
• Building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships/alignment with partners across the business to maintain consistent policies, processes, and metrics across cloud platforms
• Collaborating with Service Operations Excellence team to identify quality templates, and prioritize by providing Operations’ perspective to drive improvement to the product and services with a focus on availability, reliability, scalability etc.
• Driving continuous improvement through training and enforcement of service quality framework
• Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse array of stakeholders

Minimum Requirements
• Experience with SaaS / Cloud Operations and Service Delivery is a huge plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems or related field
• Demonstrable experience with BPM / BPI
• ITIL foundation Certification
• Advanced ITIL certification is a plus
• Knowledge of CMMI is a plus
• Familiarity with ITSM tools
• 7+ years’ experience IT industry experience (cloud / SaaS platforms experience is a plus)
• Experience creating executive dashboards
• Strong management skills, but also be able to dive into details as needed
