Summary Description

Teradata is looking for a skilled Interactive Visual Designer to join the growing Content Marketing & Brand Strategy Team. This individual will join a team of developers and strategists to work on high-visibility, large-scale inbound digital marketing initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure visual consistency of design across the site
  • Create visually impactful and on-brand layouts
  • Work closely with the content team, providing wireframes for designers from different functions across the organization, and for multiple creative agencies (UX, Digital, Creative)
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, strategists, subject matter experts, and SEO specialists to design large-scale web solutions that achieve business goals and champion the user’s voice
  • Design user-centric intuitive wireframes and interactive prototypes that are positioned to achieve business goals are rooted in UX best practices and consider the analysis of usability tests, user data, A/B tests, and stakeholder feedback
  • Leverage and build out design system libraries to ensure visual cohesion and engineering efficiency
  • Oversee and build out intuitive scalable architecture for design, content, and media libraries
  • Work closely with the web development team to ensure that functional requirements and interaction styles are implemented and output as intended

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong expertise in Figma and Adobe’s Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator; have knowledge of: XD, Acrobat, and Animate) Knowledge of Sketch
  • Strong understanding of design systems, information architecture, user experience best practices, responsive web design, branding, and design principles
  • Strong time management skills; able to excel in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience designing web experiences for enterprise-level businesses and leading design teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field, or equivalent experience
  • An online portfolio showcasing strong digital design solutions is required 

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B, SaaS, and tech industry experience
  • UX/UI expertise
  • Strong knowledge of CSS and HTML
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Experience using user testing tools
  • Understanding SEO best practices
