Director, Strategy
The Director, Strategy is a key leadership position in our Strategy organization. This role provides active direction to achieve Teradata’s company strategy through a variety of means including advising on strategic opportunities and alignment, strategic planning, market and competitive research, and driving cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate has core problem solving abilities applicable to a broad range of topics in the tech/software industry, deep experience in several functions, whether in industry or in consulting, and experience leading cross-functional teams on strategic topics.

The Day-to-Day Experience:
You will bring a collaborative mindset and broad perspective every day to create best in class strategy development process coupled with your experience leading cross-functional teams in a global technology company to analyze and solve complex problems. You will do this by:
· Engaging with key stakeholders across the company as a trusted advisor employing a broad business perspective, strong problem-solving, and analytic methodologies
· Sensing and synthesizing relevant market, competitive, employee, customer, and partner insights to solve problems and build the right strategy
· Collaborating and partnering with our transformation office to support outstanding execution of our strategy
· Leading cross-functional teams creating and driving best-in-class strategy development processes.

US Pay Rate: $199,500.00 - $249,400.00 - $299,300.00 Annually
Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
