Our Internship Program

Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. Your Opportunity

The Advanced Analytics group at Teradata has an opening for a Data Science Software Engineer Intern. If you are passionate about creating applications that facilitate the use of advanced analytics and have a strong interest in working on a project that will lead to a real product, you would be interested in this internship.

In this job, you are expected to help develop an application around exploratory data analysis and feature engineering using our Vantage Analytics Platform and ecosystem components. You will work closely with members of the Data Science and Analytics Engineering team and Product Management to contribute to the creation of a SQL generator that integrates SQL elements, and data elements for automated Feature Engineering.

Your Experience, skills, and knowledge requirements

• Experience in SQL development and SQL-based applications
• Experience with relational database technology
• High programming skills with Java, C# and/or C++
• Familiarity with data wrangling, data prep and/or ELT processing
• General understanding of data science and analytics processes and functionality
• Passionate, self-motivated, risk taker, proactive, initiative taker, good communicator (both written and verbal), creative, and team-oriented

Basic Qualifications/Requirements

• Must be enrolled in BS/MS/PhD degree program. With graduation dates between December 2023-June 2025.
