Our Team
This position is for a Software Engineer Intern in the SQL-Engine Services team within the Vantage Core - Platform Software organization. The SQLES Team is comprised of multiple scrum level teams working towards the same goal: to provide comprehensive, reliable, and scalable solutions for the Teradata SQL Engine (i.e. Teradata Database) for our supported public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Your Opportunity
This position is for a Software Engineer Intern in the SQL-Engine Services team within the Vantage Core – Platform Software organization. The position will work directly with their mentor on the end-to-end delivery of one or more features within the scope of SQLE Services, including scoping/design, implementation, and testing.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and creative current undergrad or graduate student who is eager to learn cloud technologies and can contribute to the success of Teradata. They will also have class work or independent experience with Python, RESTful services, public cloud infrastructure and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), computer science fundamentals (e.g. data structures, algorithms), Git, and agile methodologies.
