Job Summary: 

We’re hiring a AIOps Sr Engineer with experience in ServiceNow ITOM Module and in Now Intelligence AIOps. The successful candidate is responsible for ensuring daily end-to-end delivery of modern applications, systems, integration, while retiring existing legacy tools. The AIOps Sr Engineer will leverage Now Intelligence, Machine Learning framework, natural language processing, search and automation to enable auto-identification and auto-remediation of issues with the goal of improving customer service responsiveness and lower operational costs. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Planning and implementing; The AIOps Sr Engineer must determine the appropriate scope and standards for Operations Management. The lead sets the procedures for collecting and maintaining that information.  
  • Communicating; The AIOps Sr Engineer communicates why, and which operational platforms and tools are needed and takes the lead in training users and members of other processes about the importance of AIOps. 
  • Auditing and reporting; The AIOps Sr Engineer organizes audits of the AIOps infrastructure and identifies missing or unauthorized data. The engineer must report the occurrence of these issues. 
  • Engages with strategic projects to ensure AIOps can deliver required Service functionality within project timeframes 
  • Reviews and approves all changes to AIOps Architecture where applicable 
  • Mentors the organization on AIOps services, concepts, policies, and procedures 
  • Provides and approves all requirements, use cases, user stories, etc. in support of new or improving functionality of AIOps 
  • Reviews and approves all requests for administrator log on credentials / access rights to the AIOps infrastructure and Applications. 
  • Reviews and publishes AIOps reporting. 
  • Effectively communicates with both technical and non-technical staff 
  • Maintain compliance with Security and Governance standards 
  • Develops and documents configurations, workflows, processes, and FAQs for AIOps processes 
  • Provide architecture support on AIOps 
  • Implement proof of concepts and early release solutions in Customer environments  

Technical Skills 

 

  • Maintain up to date an ITIL and other relevant certifications 
  • Maintain up to date on DevOps and other relevant certifications  
  • Working knowledge in ServiceNow ITOM, Datadog APM, LogicMonitor, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic One, or other comparable AIOps technologies to modernize Operations.  
  • Experience with Machine Learning, AI, Systems Management and Root Cause Analysis. 

Required Qualifications and skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience 
  • 8+ years of experience in a Lead Support Tools Development role 
  • 8+ years of experience with aas and/or managed services providers 
  • 5+ years Cloud Management experience with AWS, Azure, and other comparable public cloud 
  • Client interfacing, relationship building, and consulting skills required 
  • 5+ hands-on Experience with AIOps 

 

Preferred Qualifications and skills: 

  • 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITOM and Now Intelligence.  
  • 8+ years of experience in a as a technical lead 
  • 5+ years of experience with Lean, Agile, and Scrum methodologies 
  • 5+ years of experience in an ITOM and AIOps role working with ServiceNow Operational Intelligence. 
  • Hands on experience using continuous integration solutions such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Xmatters or comparable tools
