We are looking for a highly motivated and seasoned leader who will bring a proven track record and strong skills in business strategy, business operations (budget, people management), communications, customer and partner engagement, and internal stakeholder management. This role calls for a balance of leadership and influence skills across the senior leaders within the team and beyond.  An ability to anticipate and respond quickly as new opportunities and situations arise is critical. The role requires an ability of strategic thinking and a passion for execution excellence.  

As a member of the partner leadership team, you will serve as a trusted advisor and will have an important voice at the leadership table and be a resource to help support the broader strategic and operational needs of the team. The ideal candidate is self-directed with an ability to manage through ambiguity and look around corners to anticipate business needs now and in the future. The role will report to the Sr. Director Partner Operations and help manage the business for the SVP of Teradata’s Partner Organization. 

Key Responsibilities include: 

Partner business planning: planning for strategic initiatives and program: Help ideate, plan, execute and track the progress of strategic projects     
Business management: Coordinate with the business operations team to develop and maintain an intelligent internal and external business ROB and run LT meetings, offsites and all-hands. Work finance and HR partners to manage budgets, headcount, and other operational details.  
Internal and external communications: Manage leader’s executive communications and thought leadership agenda, presentations, events, partner engagements, etc. to elevate visibility and impact of Teradata’s Partner Organization 
Build and evolve the role of the organization. Partner closely with the LT to identify priorities and drive strategies to meet business goals

Deep industry subject matter knowledge and depth in IT partner ecosystems 
Strong organizational skills, with the ability and passion around people management, operations management and excellence 
Long track record of effectively collaborating and communicating across groups to drive clarity and effectiveness in the rhythm of business.   
Proactiveness and independence in driving priorities forward   
Previous IT business/strategy acumen rationalizing complex problems and turning them into actionable outcomes. 
Communication skills, including the ability to distill the essence of ideas into coherent story telling. 
Proven effectiveness driving complex multi-stakeholder planning processes, driving cross-team programs to desired results   
Propensity to think and communicate with empathy and inclusiveness   
Ability to partner with virtual teams across the globe  

Candidate Requirements: 

10+ years of IT Industry, cloud, and partner channel operations experience.  
Deep understanding of the enterprise sales processes and partner types. Experience in SaaS company working with Partners (Reseller, MSPs, SIs, ISV’s, Technology and CSPs) across multiple Geographies. 
5+ years of operations / business management and business planning experience and proven multi year track record in leading and managing complex business RoB. 5+years of experience running large global virtual teams. Knowledgeable of budget and people management processes. 
Worked cross-functionally across large and complex organizations and experience in senior leader (VP/SVP) stakeholder management and engagement 
Experience in executive communications development and management. Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) across all levels of the organization. 
Experience in speaking and in front of internal executive audiences and presentations in front of with external audiences (customers or partners) 
5+ experience of business strategy and program development with demonstrated abilities to turn programs into business tactics and outcomes.  
Analytical abilities to continuously measure and improve organizational impact. 
Demonstrated Customer first, Partner first mindset and impact. 
Entrepreneurial, high energy, collaborative, responsive, and results-driven self-starter 
Ability to deal well with change and be a team player, strong listener, learner and builder 
The successful candidate will report to the Sr. Director of Partner Operations and will support the SVP of Teradata Partners and her LT. The role can work from a Teradata facility or virtual and will be expected to travel for business (<20%)
