Job Description:

Junior Technology Consultant works within our presales Global Sales Solutions team. This person will train with a diverse group of individual team members on how to successfully consult with sales teams worldwide in the sizing/configuration of TERADATA systems for On-Premise and Cloud implementations to meet customer requirements. This person will be under the guidance of a mentor to provide strategic technical support to the sales organization with the goal of enhanced revenue generation.

 

What you will do:

Achieve excellence in consulting and design for sales solutions, working with the field Solution Engineers on Platform and Cloud configurations for sales opportunities.

  • Account Team Consultation on Solution Design and Sizing
  • Configuration Validation
  • Process and Tools Clarification

Skills and Experiences you will Need to Be Successful:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant technical field
  • Knowledge of relational databases and nonrelational databases
  • Excellent communication skills, detail oriented

 

Ideally, you will also have the following:

  • Fluency in other languages apart from English is a plus
  • Trainable and able to train others
