We are looking for someone who enjoys staying abreast of new technologies that may be relevant to future solutions whilst maintaining a balance of supportability, simplicity, and ease of delivery and integration.

The Analytics Technical Lead is a Teradata trained Consultant with a proven track record of Services engagements or experience with successful deployment and leadership responsibilities within a Teradata customer environment. You will specialize in the design, development and support of the Technology environment including Architecture, Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Data modelling and Testing domains within Data Analytics. You must have the skills necessary to understand the overall data warehouse & cloud architecture including team leadership skills.

You will manage the development of Technical team with the specified country and report into to Country Practice Lead. You will work in an operations and project delivery management lead role and lead a team of consultants.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Leading teams of Consultants in Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Modelling, Testing and Solution architecture and coordinating their activities.
• Leading customer workshops in projects
• Support Country Practice Lead in Delivery of projects within the country.
• Design, develop, test, support processes for extracting and loading data from source systems to DWH and DM
• Design the processes to meet service level agreements for data timeliness and frequency
• Analyze and optimization current solutions, physical model optimization, query tuning
• Mentoring junior members of the team in software development best practices Developing project deliverable documentation and ensuring quality in delivery of projects.
• Conduct interviews, hire and train new technical staff
• Provide guidance and insight to upper management on areas of focus on skills development
• Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects
• Deliver products consistently, on time, and on budget
• Work closely with project managers during all phases of the development lifecycle
• Review all work produced by the technical teams

 

 

Requirements

• Experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse Architecture, Technology and processes including Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Modelling and Testing  experience 10+ years
• Statistical & computational analysis
• Experience in Team management and team leadership 5+ years.
• In depth knowledge of enterprise relational database
• In depth knowledge of one of data warehouse tools and technologies: Informatica PowerCenter or SAS DI, Microstrategy, SAP Busienss Objects, Relational Modelling tools (e.g. ErWin) and Testing suites.
• Linux Command line as a user knowledge
• Microsoft Excel Advanced user knowledge
• Advanced Communication skills: being able to communicate with heads of business departments
• Java programming experience is an advantage
