External Description:

Teradata is looking for an innovative channel cloud campaign director to plan and oversee the implementation of our resell channel campaign strategies. The campaign director will be developing resell cloud-specific selling campaign strategies, planning resell campaigns, and managing campaign communications to partners. This person is a highly motivated and experienced campaign leader to manage, grow and develop specific cloud and analytics solution campaign with Teradata’s strategic resellers and distributors in addition to supporting several other tactical relationships.  This position requires a leader that can manage multiple touch points and create strong relationships across the organization and the partner team and work collaboratively to support the success of our business within Teradata and the partner organization.

Applicants should have a proven track record in product and analytics solution campaign  management in the cloud or experience working with regional Systems Integrators/Consulting, resellers and distributors. The scope of the role includes identification of cloud solution campaign working with or through the channels, including growth within existing Teradata accounts, management of the campaign sales cycle and engagement process to gain agreement with requisite stakeholders on execution.  The applicant will develop presentations and materials, support sales calls and maintain up to date best practices on campaign management. The role will require exceptional interpersonal skills, strong strategic sense and a deep understanding of our Teradata strategies and business model.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and improving existing resell campaign strategies with major focus on cloud
  • Developing new solution go to market campaign with resellers and distributors  and implementing campaign marketing plans.
  • Targeting specific resellers and distributors to promote products and services.
  • Analyzing market data, trends, customer preferences, and competitor behaviour to optimize campaign strategies.
  • Gathering channel campaign data, evaluating the impact of strategies, and reporting the results.
  • Deploying channel resell campaign strategies in collaboration with the partner organization, customer support team, consulting delivering group and other relevant line of business.
  • Managing all cloud campaign communications and establishing strong partner networks
  • Achievement of MBO’s associated with driving revenue and new account development and related activities.
  • Region Coverage will be worldwide

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree (graduate degree a plus) as well as 15 years’ experience in managing complex relationships with one or more of the following skills:
  • A strong understanding of and practical experience in cloud and alliance management specifically within high-tech at both a strategic, tactical and operational level.
  • Ability to formulate cloud resell campaign from demand generation, sales, pre-sales and post-sales activities
  • People and interpersonal management skill
  • Strategy, business planning formulation and execution experience, with measurable result.
  • Experience managing complex relationships across multiple levels and disciplines.
  • Ability to manage a complex selling environment where objectives between the Partner and Teradata may not always be aligned.
  • High degree of executive presence; proven ability and experience to operate effectively at senior management and C-executive levels .
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly gain trust and credibility
  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to deliver effective diplomatic communications as well as handle sensitive information and materials in a confidential manner
  • Current knowledge of Teradata solutions is recommended.
  • Excellent presentation skills and confidence.
