Senior Manager, Sales Operations

This is a unique opportunity to join our GTM Partner & Alliances Operations Team in a period of fast business growth, expansion and cloud innovation. If you are interested in working in a startup like environment where you can directly influence the strategy and future of Teradata’s partner programs, processes and systems that will drive partner impact and customer success, then this is the place for you! You will join a team of partner development professionals, operations experts, business analysts, that work cross company and with CSP, SI, Reseller and ISV partners to build on, sell, deploy and scale Teradata’s analytics capabilities in public and private clouds.

We are looking for a highly motivated and seasoned leader to own the end-to-end Teradata partner journey and experience across Teradata’s systems, processes and tools. You will own, manage and execute Teradata partner membership program, and be responsible for the partner engagement, enablement across the partner journey and partners satisfaction and success with Teradata. This critical role will also design, oversee and facilitate the onboarding process for new Teradata partners, including contract management, renewals, management of skilling, marketing and sales content in our partner facing system.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Own Teradata’s Partner Journey Map and Lifecycle. Be responsible for partner satisfaction and ease for doing business with Teradata.
  • Define, manage and evolve Teradata’s partner membership program (Partner Intelligence Network) for maximum efficiency, growth, partner satisfaction and specified business results.
  • Conduct competitive research assessing industry trends and new developments that impact our partner programs, partner selection and capacity aligned to partner business strategy. Provide insights to inform business planning and operational planning.
  • Establish program operating metrics / performance standards. Track partner engagement levels, satisfaction and performance metrics  the partner lifecycle and stated objectives
  • Manage and drive consumption of partner facing materials through all partner management systems and tools.
  • Document business processes and contribute to continuously improving partner assets and the partner experience
  • Own and continuously improve new partner onboarding process, experience and operations.
  • Work with other members in the team on partner contracting, renewal management, MDF, Incentives and referral fees management
  • Represent the Partner Operations team in operational/business projects supporting our partners

Candidate Requirements:

  • 10+ years of IT Industry and channel operations experience.
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise sales processes and partner types. Experience in SAAS company working with Partners (Reseller, MSPs, SIs, ISV’s, Technology) across multiple Geographies is a plus
  • Experience developing, deploying and managing Global Partner Program.
  • Ability to translate partner feedback into solutioning operational improvements, partner program benefits
  • Demonstrated Customer first, Partner first mindset and impact
  • Analytical capabilities to continuously measure and improve partner systems and processes based on data
  • Experience with automation solutions, processes and programs relevant to partner operations
  • Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally across organizations
  • Entrepreneurial, high energy, collaborative, responsive, and results-driven self-starter
  • Ability to deal well with change and be a team player, strong listener, learner and builder
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) across all levels of the organization

The successful candidate will report to the Sr. Director of Global Partner Operations. The role can work from a Teradata facility or virtual and will be expected to travel for business (<10%)
