Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. The location for this position will be virtual as Teradata has not fully re-opened offices yet. Our Team 

We are the Global Marketing Communications team. What does that mean? We are responsible for the messaging and communications that represent Teradata in the marketplace. This includes Brand, Social Media and Content Development. This role will help support the compliance and consistency of the corporate brand, promote Social Media presence and evaluate metrics, and aid in the content development process and content governance. 

Your Opportunity 

The Marketing Communication intern will support three key areas of the Global Marketing business. For brand support, the intern position will assist the Teradata brand manager with brand reviews and adherence and special projects involving outside agencies. These agencies provide services for video production, messaging, translations and creative layout and design. The intern position will also support the Social Media team in writing social posts for all Teradata blogs, monitor social tools (Everyone Social, Sprinklr and LinkedIn) for industry/Teradata news, and execute monthly and adhoc reporting. The social role also involves compiling and updating training materials for Sales, HR, Marketing, and other teams, as well as writing copy for internal Yammer updates and email flashes. For content development support, the intern will assist with content audits of metadata and correct messaging, as well as other duties to support the overall content lifecycle from conception to retirement of assets. 


Must be enrolled in BS Business (Marketing) or equivalent degree program, with graduation dates between December 2022 – June 2025.  

Social media management tool knowledge (ex: Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) 

Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as project management aptitude 

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)  

Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus
