• Environment: Customer onsite or work home.  It depends on the assigned project, but there may be business trips to the customer's place.

Role : Project Manager / Project Leader

Job contents:

Work in Teradata implementation projects on cloud/VM/On-Premise environment.

Consulting customers to settle down their requirements about the system.

Develop/test applications connecting the Teradata database.

Being project leader/manager in the near future

 

Industry:

Our projects are in the Financial, Retail, Manufacturing, and Pharmaceutical industries.

But industry knowledge for this role is not mandatory.

English:

English skill is preferred, but not mandatory.

Challenges in this role:

The candidate must learn Teradata including the platform deeply first.

Also, he/she will have to time keep up with the changing configuration rules/options. 

Career pattern/development:

This is the core delivery role of our team, and he/she has a chance to be either a project manager, a technical presales consultant, or a people manager in the future.

 

Essential attributes: SQL/database development experiences, customer negotiation, communication in Japanese, willingness to work for more than 2 years

Preferable: Cloud knowledge, system design perspective, person who likes working in teams.
