Title:     Cloud Onboarding Manager (EMEA)

Reports to: CS&S Cloud Onboarding + PMO + Data Migration Services Director

Location:  Virtual.  Travel: 0-5%

 

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The CS&S EMEA Cloud Onboarding Manager is responsible for supporting account teams and customers through the journey to Cloud.

 

Primary objectives are to support the Presales/ Architecture Review, Provisioning, Network Handshake, and Transition to Project team for data migration, application testing, etc.

 

Key Presales Tasks

  • Socializing Cloud Onboarding requirements and processes with account teams
  • Ensuring that Account Teams are asking the right questions and setting the right customer expectations
  • Answering account team questions, escalating to Cloud Operations as needed through the sales process
  • Sharing Best Practices for Cloud Migrations across account teams

 

Key Onboarding / Provisioning Tasks

  • Supporting Account Teams as they prepare for Architecture Reviews
  • Facilitating Architecture Reviews through Architecture approval status
  • Facilitating the Network handshake to ensure customer connectivity to Cloud
  • Facilitating handoff to SEM/Project Manager for Data Migration

 

This position is a salaried position and requires some weekend and work outside the 8 to 5 timeframe.  The Onboarding Manager will work remotely from a virtual home-based office.


SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong Interpersonal skills – Written and oral communication, decision-making, leadership
  • Resilience in managing through complex technical challenges
  • Understanding of Teradata Change Control, Support, and/or Cloud Operations
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive change adoption across the organization

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Teradata Solution products through a combination of experience and Teradata Certifications (client software, networking, host operating systems, and utilities)
  • Experience with Teradata infrastructure, client software/utilities, networking, and O/S
  • Familiarity with core system administration tools, basic networking protocols, and Cloud security and compliance
  • Experience building, supporting, and/or migrating cloud environments
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office components and documentation toolsets
  • ITIL Certification and/or PMP Certification and/or experience in MS Project Management and/or Change Management Methodology
  • Cross-functional project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • 7 years experience in computer technology or related fields
  • BS/BA degree in Business Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Math, Statistics, or Engineering
