Global Process Owner - Go-To-Market (GTM)

 

Teradata is currently looking to fill the role of Global Process Owner - GTM. The role reports to the VP, Global Sales Operations. Our Global Process Owners are charged with leading key initiatives to improve the function and efficiency of the sales process, via automation, process simplification and redesign.

 

As a Global Process Owner, you will directly own key programs to drive improved sales, more efficient processes and achieve our company’s long-term goals. These processes could include account planning, sales forecasting, prospecting, and opportunity management as examples.

 

The role must work cross-functionally to satisfy business requirements and meet the needs of several stakeholders across Field Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, Product, Finance, and others.


This role’s responsibilities include:

 

  • Identify, scope and lead critical projects and initiatives end-to-end by partnering with cross-functional teams across the organizations
  • Provide project management leadership and drive process changes for large-scale initiatives
  • Define and measure key metrics/KPls to evaluate process effectiveness and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain process definition and work with enablement to drive adoption in the field
  • Support development of communications, change management, and stakeholder engagement plans

 

The Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of experience, with a focus on tech enablement and process definition preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skillset with ability to communicate insights clearly
  • Sales Operations, Business Operations, or top 5 consulting firm experience preferred
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification preferred
  • This candidate should be detail oriented, articulate, and have strong story-telling skillset
  • Demonstrated skill at building strong working relationships and influencing both internal and external stakeholders
