Senior Information Security Consultant / Privacy Architect

This person should ideally have the strongest possible combination of the following qualifications and characteristics:

Implementation Level Experience

Enterprise - Cloud Network Security

Directory Integration Services, LDAP/Kerberos authentication, LDAP authorization

OS Hardening of Linux, UNIX, Hadoop and Windows servers

Credential pass-through solutions, centralized directory and identity management

Syslog monitoring and exportation to SIEM solutions

RDBMS log facility monitoring, rule configuration and exportation to SIEM solutions

Substantial hands-on keyboard level experience with vulnerability scans and remediation, authentication, authorization, log exportation, SQL, python, certificate installation, IP filters, IP tiles, row level security, network security

Other Technical Skills

Strong SQL and RDBMS skills particularly relating to design and implementation of row and column level security

Encryption (data-in-motion/use, data-at-rest, full disk, column/file/application level, transparent, full database, tokenization, SSL, symmetric/asymmetric key, ephemeral key, fully homomorphic)

COBIT, COSO, ISO, NIST adopted as SOX compliance frameworks

NIST/ISO conformant risk assessments

Domestic and international privacy law (CCPA, GDPR, LGDP)

Data layer centric security controls

Massive parallel processing architecture (MPP)

Open-source platform security

Cyber security solution design, UEBA, IoA, IoC, implementation, cyber hunting, Lockheed kill-chain interdiction

 General Security Regulations

ISO/IEC 27001/2 series, NIST SP 800 series


Work Ethic and Attitude

Work independently in a virtual environment with little or no supervision

Superior diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Superior client communication, writing and presentation skills

Ability and willingness to travel occasionally up to 40 to 50% max, including internationally on valid US Passport

Missionary attitude with the desire to become a trusted security advisor to our customers

Desire to be a key contributor in the best, world-class information security professional services team in the business

Additional Desirable Attributes

Teradata systems experience a plus

Knowledge and experience with RDBMS systems (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) a plus

Ability to obtain a US secret security clearance (existing active secret or higher security clearance) a plus

Salary commensurate with experience and within Teradata guidelines.

Education, Certification, Experience

B.S. in Computer Science, CIS/MIS or related field

Advanced degree or certificate in information security, cyber security, information assurance or related field

CISSP or equal authoritative certification in information security, assurance or related field using the ISC(2) CBKs
