Account Executive – Enterprise Greenfield
Our Account Executive is responsible for identifying and qualifying Enterprise Greenfield opportunities in Singapore.
The role focuses on identifying business needs accordingly does information-gathering to help pre-qualify opportunities for the sales organization.
You will be responsible for delivering Teradata’s unique portfolio of solution products and services to our potential customers and Clients. Using your prospecting and account penetration skills, you’ll work to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline and forecast goals as well as other defined objectives. So you’ll need the experience and technical ability to see and assess their challenges in order to provide our best possible solutions for their needs. Your direct solutions sales experience is as vital as your ability to seek out and capitalise opportunities for profitable growth. This means working closely with your customer, both as a consultant and as a trusted advisor and the confidence to initiate business conversation with C Suites on our analytic solutions. Teradata’s professional reputation and range of solutions and services is second to none, so you’ll be a trusted ambassador for our brand.
Your communication skills must be such that you can identify and clearly explain solutions to potential customer, and that means right up to the C- suite. Excellent collaborative and organisational skills are a must, too, because you’ll be part of a greater Teradata team of technologists, sales colleagues and partners, all working together for the best interest of our customers. And it goes without saying that you’ll have the strong personal skills to quickly build trust and respect between you and your customer.
You’ll ideally have
- 8+ years’ experience selling software & services, specifically in the analytics and data management space – with a demonstrated success sales record
- Broad industry knowledge and contacts to uncover new business opportunities for Teradata solutions
- Success developing new account opportunities to C-Level executives
- A Bachelor’s degree; though a Masters would be nice, it’s not a deal breaker – we’re more interested in the whole you, not just the parts...
